Building System

A very easy building system that has a lot of potential in your own hands, place what you need where you want in the world, don't worry about things not fitting anywhere as we allow full control over the objects you place for you to be able to get what you need in the tightest of spaces!

You will need to gather some wood first to make your first base, and have a stone hammer in hand to be able to build foundations, walls, windows and doors, you will be able to re-enforce your building with various materials scattered across the world! and make your base truly indestructible!

The World

I decided to tackle the world as a endless procedural world where the only limit is your system, whilst the specs will be lower than most to run having large worlds will result in longer load and save times!

Each tile is randomly generated I can define what gets put in them and whether we should have a different biome in there changing up the world a little more, i can also state that maybe we don't want to have a forest in there but some random generated house that was possibly built by a previous explorer! this is just the start of this world and things are going to get crazy over time! with even more details and new environments 



The UI

Although this is not the final UI as it looks ugly, I will be following this route as im trying to go for a minimal design whilst in game to give the player a better experience

In game, The player will have a health bar, and some gauges above it (Hunger, Temp, Water) we can also see a small hotbar placed to the right of the health bar as far as that this is the UI in game!


You will have a inventory and crafting window (Very Early)


Upon opening your inventory that is built from the ground up! you will be greeted with this! 12 slots for the player 6 slots for a chest and a panel on the right showing what you can craft, 

Hovering over an item will give you a little bit of detail about it! (Name, and what is needed to be crafted)

You can drag, swap, drop and destroy items in an inventory (Stack splits in-progress)
